Overview

What you'll take away

A facilitated session that turns a loose goal into a locked brief, scored options, named owners and a test plan.

Audience

Who it's for

A good fit for

  • Leadership, product, ops and cross-functional teams
  • Leaders who need a shared language for priorities
  • Teams tired of endless pilots and plans with no owner

Not the right fit for

  • Groups that will not write down kill criteria
  • Anyone looking for a slide deck instead of decisions

Agenda

Sample agenda

A typical running order. We tailor the agenda and timings to your group before the day.

  1. 20 min

    Frame the session

Goals, constraints and who owns the decision.

  2. 40 min

    Who is affected

Users, buyers, blockers and skeptics, with real quotes on jobs to be done.

  3. 45 min

    Opportunity brief

Find the right altitude, then write a one-page brief with a metric that would change a decision.

  4. 15 min

    Break

  5. 20 min

    Frame-lock

Agree the brief before ideas. Record dissent for later.

  6. 45 min

    Diverge, converge, select

Ideas inside named constraints. Score independently, then discuss the outliers.

  7. 30 min

    Test plan

Hypothesis, participants, duration, metrics and pre-committed kill criteria.

  8. 15 min

    Owners and next gates

A simple portfolio log with stage, owner, next gate and status.
