Overview
What you'll take away
The live, team version of the Design Thinking in AI course. Your team runs one real AI use case through empathize, define, ideate, prototype and test, and finishes the day with a working prototype.
- A map of the real workflow, built with the people who do it
- A plain-language problem statement, scored for impact, ease, data and risk
- Ten constrained ideas, narrowed to one primary and one backup
- A working AI prototype built in the room, with a human check and an off switch
- A test card with pass criteria set before anyone looks at results
- A short plan to harden, kill or expand the prototype
Audience
Who it's for
A good fit for
- Teams that want AI to fix a real workflow, not add another tool
- Product, ops and cross-functional groups exploring an AI feature or internal tool
- Leaders who want an AI idea tested before they fund it
- Mixed groups with no technical background
Not the right fit for
- Data science or model training
- Groups looking for a vendor demo or a tool tour
- Anyone who wants customer-facing AI with no human review
Agenda
Sample agenda
A typical running order. We tailor the agenda and timings to your group before the day.
- 20 min
Welcome and the loop
Design the work, then pick the tool. The five stages, applied to AI.
- 45 min
Empathize: map the real work
Map steps, handoffs, hours and pain for one workflow. Mark the parts that must stay human.
- 40 min
Define: frame the AI problem
Who, friction, situation and cost, with no product names. Score it and check it is an AI problem at all.
- 15 min
Break
- 35 min
Ideate: patterns and constraints
Match the problem to drafting, summarizing, routing, lookup or classifying. Ten ideas inside real limits.
- 75 min
Prototype: build it
Hands-on: prompts, an assistant grounded in your own documents or a simple automation, with a named owner and a kill switch.
- 40 min
Test: try it with users
Pass criteria first, then real outputs in front of the people who do the work. Log what breaks.
- 20 min
Risk check and next steps
Human review, protected data and an owner. Decide to harden, kill or expand.

FAQ
Questions
When can we book it, and what does it cost?
Pricing and dates will be announced soon. Request this workshop and we will reply with options.
Do we need a technical background?
No. The prototype is built with everyday AI assistants and no-code tools.
What use case should we bring?
One real, repetitive workflow your team owns. We help you pick it during the intake conversation.
Can we use our own data?
Use sample or anonymized data in the session. Keep private customer records out of tools that are not approved for them.
How is this different from the course?
The course is self-paced for individuals. The workshop runs the same method live, with your whole team on one shared use case.
